|Brew City Church|
First, note that this event is only Wednesday 7-9:30pm, and Friday 7-9:30pm – no Thursday gathering. Two evenings – Wednesday and Friday. Also, there’s important info at the end, so read this whole thing please. Love.
We’re plugging away at tracking the record. Vocals getting done this week hopefully, which means that we’re quickly moving on to gathering our citywide worship choir… YOU!
Check out the first video posted below – Creatures of The King. Similar to what we did there, we’re gathering up the choir to record your beautiful worshipping voices. Except this time it’s not just for a video – you’ll be on the first MKEW record!
Last time we did this was super lovely. You sounded great (just listen to the Creatures song!) and it was really fun to look around the room and see people from churches across the city getting to know one another and pouring their hearts out in worship. Here’s a beautiful opportunity for you to welcome your family and friends into the MKEW crew and also to develop a broader understanding of and affection for the Church in Milwaukee. Oh yes.
We’ll be tracking half the songs on Wednesday, and half on Friday. It would be super helpful for consistency’s sake if you could make it to both nights, but not necessary.
We don’t have the songs totally ready yet- still recording final lead vocals and some other things. We wanted to get this invite out so you can save the dates, and we’ll post rough mixes on our soundcloud account for you to get familiar with before the choir gatherings- hopefully next week. We’ll be moving quickly to hopefully track 6 songs on Wednesday night, and 6 songs Friday night, so the more prep you can do, the better.
Thank you so incredibly much for encouraging us along the way, supporting the kickstarter, worshipping with us at MKEW Nights, bringing meals during recording, all the calls and texts and messages checking up on us and letting us know you’re praying with us… You friends are amazing and are beautiful expressions of the Father’s heart for us. See you soon!
